Facing criticism through the years for its poor dealing with of “abuse”, Twitter has “updated” its guidelines, to make clear its insurance policies on graphic violence, spam and self-harm amongst others.

The modifications are part of revamp to Twitter’s insurance policies surrounding on-line abuse.
The largest updates on the platform embrace abusive behaviour, self-harm, spam and associated behaviours, graphic violence and grownup content material.
